In search of sustainable eco-friendly solutions to revitalize water bodies contaminated by organic load, we use the most efficient biotechnologies, in order to improve basic sanitation and reduce water pollution.

The treatment uses microbial technology in a synergistic combination of effective beneficial microorganisms (EM™), such as lactic acid bacteria, yeasts and phototrophic bacteria, with the potential to reduce organic matter.

EM™ probiotic technology was developed in Japan in 1982 by Dr. Teruo Higa. In 1994, EMRO Foundation was created to support the technology worldwide, as well as to control manufacturing and product quality, and to conduct continuous research to improve standards, increase and expand the use of the technology.

When added to the environment, EM™ microorganism compound promotes a beneficial antioxidant fermentation process, producing bioactive substances that stimulate local and native microorganisms by promoting the balance of microbial flora, maximizing their natural energy, accelerating the decomposition of organic matter and by suppressing pathogenic microorganisms that promote putrefaction and production of noxious gases, which contaminate the water and produce bad odours.

The effectiveness of treatments for water recovery is monitored by laboratory analysis of physicochemical and biological parameters.

Services provided include:

  • Water quality evaluation and monitoring;
